The Steam Demo was retired after launch
Riftpoint said on August 19 that the Steam Demo was removed so the team could focus fully on the released game. The developer pointed players who still want a browser sample toward the development versions on Itch.io or GX Games; those are not presented here as equivalent to the retired Steam build.
Demo progress does not transfer
The developer explicitly said progress from the Demo is not carried into the full game because added content and changed systems required a different save structure. There is no supported migration path in the checked statement, so do not rename or copy Demo save files into the retail folder.
Why old Demo recipes are risky
Patch 7.0.33 removed a few recipes. That means a Demo-era combination may fail in the full game, so check the version attached to any recipe you follow.
What to recheck in the retail game
Recheck recipes, balance and unlock steps in the retail interface. The Steam Demo has been retired, and its progress does not transfer.
