Stackmon Soot Rifts: Verified Milestones and Open Questions
The official store frames investigating Soot corruption as a core task. Steam then names two concrete Soot Rift milestones: close the first Rift and close all Rifts.
Player answer
Quick answer
Soot Rifts are confirmed objectives. Soot Purifier marks the first closed Rift, and No more Rift Points marks closing all of them.
Follow the current game’s Soot objective markers.
Prepare the team before entering a corrupted encounter.
Record a Rift location and closing condition before treating it as a reusable route.
Current limit: The checked official sources do not publish the total Rift count, locations, prerequisites or rewards.

Two achievements define the progress arc
Soot Purifier requires closing a first Soot Rift. No more Rift Points requires closing all Soot Rifts. Neither description exposes how many exist.
How Soot connects to the larger loop
Official store copy includes investigating Soot corruption among the core tasks. Promotional imagery also places corrupted encounters inside the same card-based battle presentation.
Why this is not a location guide yet
A location list needs a current map, route state, unlock condition and confirmation that Rifts are not randomized or changed by progression. Those fields are absent from the public descriptions.
What to capture during a reproducible run
Record the route or biome, objective text, required battle or item, post-close state, reward and build version. That evidence can later support a spoiler-aware route guide.
